1. Nah, anyone calling in won't need an extra Gear for it. The only folks who need to have a permanent, anonymous contact set up are the volunteer listeners.
2. Of course. I'm having a conversation with everyone who's signed up. I have their real names, so I can hold them accountable for their conduct in this. I'll be checking in with them regularly, too, to make sure they're all doing okay. And I myself don't mind letting people know who I am so there's transparency there as wanted.
Believe me, I've had enough problems myself with liars mishandling power to build as many checks against it into this system as I can.
